Hi. I'm Laura ,

and I have 35 years experience in servicing individuals and small businesses in Southern Missouri, Metro East Illinois and the surrounding areas in various facets of the accounting industry.

 After obtaining my Bachelors of Science degree in Accounting from Southeast Missouri State University in December 1990, I began my career working in a public accounting firm. What started all those years ago, with my continuing education, experience, and skills, has now been refined into 618 Accounting & Tax LLC. This has allowed me to provide a more personalized relationship with my client, an in-depth involvement in their financial position, and offer other specialized services exclusive to them.

I love being able to work personally with my clients in all aspects of financial reporting, business planning, and payroll, with concentration on QuickBooks, Individual, and Small Business taxes. 

As a certified QuickBooks ProAdvisor I can confidently advise my clients with expert knowledge on the installation, setup, and implementation of the accounting system; through the training, periodic maintenance/support, and financial reporting on either the online or desktop platform.


When I’m not at work, I enjoy spending time with my family, being a grandma, chasing after my puppy, Bonzo, watching the St. Louis Cardinals play ball, the beach, and listening to KSHE radio!
